Case Study: Biomedia Demo / Purpose
The
goals of the Biomedia demo for this conference were as follows:
1. To inform conference attendees of the ongoing work being done in the Biomedia Studio, including projects in virtual reality, expressive physical and physiological computing, and robotics.
2. To open the doors to potential new sources of funding.
3. To portray a professional image not only of the Biomedia Studio, but also that of the School of Literature, Communication and Culture and the Graphics Visualization and Usability Labs at Georgia Tech.
4. To be present and available at a well-known and established networking event.
5. To develop materials and methods of exposition for the Biomedia Studio to use during future demo opportunities.
