Week 5, starting Dec. 12: |
Thesis approval form should be completed and signed by this date. Work on mapping of symbolic elements. The images on the cards and the phrases that appear in the interpretation should have a coherent relationship. How do the symbols and the project code work together? |
Week 6, starting Dec. 19: |
Research Freudian dream analysis techniques and find ways to apply these to the behavior of the images and actual programming objects. Draw up some strategies for how conceptual blending theories can be applied. |
Week 7, starting Dec. 26: |
Coding work and revisions of procedural elements. Is everything working the way I’ve planned or do I need to make changes to work around bugs or solve the problem in a more efficient way? |
Week 8, starting Jan. 2: |
Make progress updates to website. Further experimentation and research. Write code. |
Week 9, starting Jan. 9: |
Write code and work on graphics. Work on aspects of user interface. How much control and how much input should the player have? Am I satisfied with the overall visual design? Are the different zones of the interface working as planned? |

Try to have a relatively functional program ready at this point. |

Polish the program enough to prepare it for user testing next week. |
