Riffing off of my last Design Journal entry, I went back to my "experimental media" search and came up with the site for CADRE a program which is associated with the Art and Design school of San Jose State in California. I was very impressed with this site, not only did it allow me to click on the images of example projects, but the links lead me to descriptive sites, some containing multimedia. I took a quick look at the "people" link at the top and was a little discouraged when I saw only three names listed for faculty (they must be multi-talented!) but then my spirits lifted again when I discovered their online new media/media arts journal called:

I think it is a great idea to have a community board like this for faculty and students to submit intellectual papers on various issues being discussed in class. Here, both students and faculty can find out what eachother are interested in as well as create a dialogue about those issues. Maybe IDT could consider forming something like this?
